Lori Awad wrapped up an awesome 4-day meet at Winter Juniors in Austin, where she posted best times in every event! We’re also excited to share some amazing news from USA Swimming—they’ve officially announced the Scholastic All-America list, and our very own KC Junior has earned this incredible honor! This award reflects Lori’s hard work and dedication both in the pool and in the classroom. So proud of you, Lori! 👏

Serving our community is an important part of the KC Football program. This year, our program supported the annual feeder bike drive, providing 34 bikes to 34 students across our seven KC feeder elementary schools. This effort was made possible through the support of our parents, students, and coaches who donated their time and resources. A special thank you to Mr. Gunnels for coordinating pickup and delivery to ensure the bikes reached KC. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference and to support students and families throughout the Klein community.

We Love the Holiday Spirit at KC! Mrs. Hanson and Mrs. Boyd rolled through campus with their “Cocoa & Cheer Cart”, spreading smiles (and hot cocoa!) to all of our offices. Meanwhile, Mr. DeBord and our talented tuba players filled the lunch periods with festive cheer, performing Christmas carols for students and staff alike. Moments like these are what make KC such a special place during the holiday season. Thank you for spreading joy and school spirit! We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday break, and we look forward to welcoming all of our students back on January 7!

We are incredibly thankful for our 20 amazing custodians who work tirelessly to keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming every single day. Their dedication does not go unnoticed.

Each holiday season, our KC staff is proud to come together to contribute toward making this time of year a little extra special for them. It’s a small way to show appreciation for people who give so much to our school community all year long.

Thank you for all that you do!

Genetics in Action! The Biology lesson on Codominance vs. Incomplete Dominance came to life thanks to FFA member, Emma Ebelt, who brought her rabbits to help demonstrate real-world examples of genetics at work! A big thank-you to our Biology team and FFA teachers for collaborating to make learning hands-on and engaging. Seeing these traits up close made understanding genetics even more exciting!
